Position: Outside Sales to Government Market - DC Area

Looking for Outside sales professional to support continued growth in its government business. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in business development, with particular emphasis on government sales. He or she must also be expert at qualifying clients and maintaining a CRM database. Previous sales success/experience required
Description:
Our outside sales professional will be responsible for ensuring the company meets revenue and profit objectives through targeted sales efforts with existing accounts and prospects identified by team members.
Specific Tasks will include:
- Utilizing contact scheduling system to focus on penetration and retention of established client base.
- Using state-of-the-art CRM development program and technology to aid sales.
- Profiling and qualifying each prospect and client and maintaining an accurate CRM database.
- Generating invitations and attendance at marketing events and conducting follow up on marketing campaigns.
- Managing lead generation and follow up process.
Position Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a strong new business development professional with an established track record in B2B telesales. Other requirements include:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or verifiable successful sales success experience.
- Exceptionally strong communications, telephone, computer, business writing and interpersonal skills.
- Customer satisfaction driven
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Outgoing team player
- Background check and references required
- Working knowledge of MS-Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Internet
