Meet Chuck & Al! (Chuck-Al-s)
Chuck Hellar and Al Lynden formed Chuckals Office Products in 1994 – hence the name!  Chuck is Co-owner and acting President.  His duties and responsibilities fall in the financial side of the business.  Al is Co-owner and acting Vice President.  His responsibilities fall in the sales and marketing side of the business.

As business owners and community supporters, both are active in our local community as well as in the office products industry nationally.  Chuck has served as Past President of Tacoma Rotary 8, while Al is very busy on the speaking circuit to area schools for Business Week and Job Fairs.  Chuck is presently residing on the National Office Products Alliance Board and Al is an active speaker at National Wholesaler Conventions on topics such as Customer Relationship Management and Incorporating Technology into a business to enrich customer service.

You can find both of them on the golf course and hear them boasting of their grandchildren’s latest accomplishments.  Both have resided in the Tacoma area for over 30 years and are proud to have a successful business in the heart of the City of Destiny!

Janet Myhre  
Director of Government Services / General Manager WA DC

Janet joined Chuckals in 1999 when her life path brought her to the Puget Sound Area.  As the Administration and Operations manager she develop many of the programs and processes, which have supported Chuckals double-digit growth.   In 2003 she relocated to the Nation’s Capital Region in Northern Virginia and manages the operations and compliance of the company’s multi-million dollar Government Contracts.  

Career Resume: BS in Business Administration, MBA in Business Management, Industry legislative advisor for small business policy issues involving Federal Procurement Reform (size standards and access to federal procurement).

Maria Estrada
Finance / HR Manager

 
Maria has been with Chuckals since 1997, and is Chuckals’ Financial Administration Manager. Maria enjoys working with her team, crunching numbers and solving accounting mysteries. Outside of Chuckals, Maria recieved her degree from the University of Washington, in March 2006!  When she isn’t at Chuckals, Maria enjoys singing, shopping, and spending time with her friends, family and baby daughter Minette. Maria also cares for our fish, Spike.

Dan Crawford
Operations Manager

With 35 years in the printing and graphics business Dan brings experience and creativity to the Chuckals team.  For the past six years, Dan has served as Chuckals Database Administrator.  As a Microsoft Certified Professional Dan keeps the IT department working.  His other responsibilities include maintaining the Chuckals websites and managing the Chuckals commercial printing department.  Most recently Dan has worked closely with our consulting team as a Client Systems Analyst.  Dan continues to take on new projects and strives to bring top-notch technology to our small local business. Email Dan: crawfordd@chuckals.net

Bruce Bovett
Business Development Manager

Klaus Nalley
Sales Manager

As the sales manager, Klaus oversees the day to day operations of the sales staff. Klaus has been in the office products business since 1989, and with Chuckals since 1994. . Steve Spry
Commercial Account Manager

Steve Spry begins his 12th year with Chuckals in 2007. Prior to joining Chuckals Steve was involved in Major League Baseball for 15 years with the Oakland A's and the San Francisco Giants orginizations. In his spare time steve enjoys sports and travel. Email: sprys@chuckals.net

Cindy Bergman,
Government Sales Associate

Cindy has been in the office products industry since 1979, and prides herself in learning something new everyday. Her favorite part of her job is the challenge of locating just the right product or solving a problem to meet and or exceed her customer's needs. Jamie Pierce
Government Sales Associate

Jamie joined the Chuckals staff in 2005 with several years in the office supply industry under her belt. She has specifically worked with the government sector for the past three years, and especially enjoys helping her customers solve office supply and EMALL questions. Shayla Clay
Government Sales Associate

My previous experience has always involved consultative sales, technical support, and computer networking. I’m Microsoft certified and I’m learning the office supplies business and love it! I’m from New Jersey and still consider it home, but i have lived in Washington for many years and love it as well. I have a military family and so i love working at Chuckals because of the constant interaction with the government and military customers and being able to be of service to them. I love spending my spare time with my 2 little boys and new baby daughter and listening to music. J. Georg Hawkes
Commercial Account Manager

Georg joined the Chuckals team in April 2006. My primary focus is my son Trent, who is the light in my life.  I enjoy the thrill of the hunt, that is when I go antiqueing.  Theater, the arts and exploring the distant past are some of my interests.  I've served and enjoyed the sales and customer service industry in various aspects since I started my career some 26 years ago. Kathi Jones
Furniture Sales Manager

As the Furniture Sales Manager, Kathi oversees the furniture department, including operations and processes & directs all major projects from program development through installation. Kathi's career in Contract Furniture began in 1982. She holds a BA in Fine Arts with Graduate studies in Design in Florence, Italy. She has also studied Facilities Management in the School of Architecture at the University of Washington. In her spare time, Kathi enjoys theater, reads ardently, water color paints pensively, dances Tango passionately. She is a mediocre skier and an amateur at golf but enjoys doing them both. Jesse Boyovich
Furniture Installation

Place a furniture order and you will have the opportunity to meet Jesse, the newest member of the Chuckals Team!  Jesse joins the team after 30 years working for the US Postal Service.  During the fall, Jesse can be found spending time with the Kent Knight Junior Football Association.

George Huntington 
Warehouse

George has been with Chuckals from the beginning.  George insures the smooth operation of our warehouse and works the early shift from 4 am until 1 pm. Away from work, George loves to listen to old radio shows and books on tape.

Donny Davis 
Lead Driver

Donny has been with Chuckals since 1998. Donny is the lead driver at Chuckals Office Products and keeps things running smooth on the road. What Donny likes best about his job are the customers. He enjoys the interaction with you, our customer. On his off time Donny enjoys bowling, softball and spending time with his kids.

David Dawkins
Chuckals Delivery Staff

Chuckals is proud to introduce David, our new route driver!  David delivers to our customers in Fife, Puyallup, and Spanaway.  David brings years of delivery and customer service experience to the Chuckals team.   

Mary Haner  
Chuckals Delivery Staff

Mary has been with Chuckals since 2000. Her duties include delivering orders to our customers, and helping to maintain the warehouse. Mary's favorite part of her job is interacting with the customers that she serves. During her off time Mary enjoys shopping, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her new husband Tim.

Cecil Dillard
Chuckals Furniture Installer

Chuckals is proud to introduce Cecil , our newest addition to our Furniture Department!  Cecil started with Chuckals in Januray of 2008 and has helped round out our furniture installation department. On his off time, Cecil enjoys teaching kids in his youth group and spending time with his 3 beautiful children!

Gary Harwood
Driver / Warehouse

Gary has been with Chuckals since 2000. Gary says he is blessed to have so many nice customers to work with. He looks forward every morning to find out who he will get to go see. He also enjoys the beautiful scenery on his route along the Tacoma waterfront and the Key Peninsula. Gary enjoys gardening & yard work. He has over 70 roses in his front yard that take up most of his time March through October.

Crystal Cook
Sales Support, Marketing Assistant & Promo

Crystal joined the Chuckals team in August of 2005. Crystal enjoys working with the Marketing Department as well as the commercial sales team. Crystal has also got the opportunity to work with web design here at Chuckals and is loving it. Crystal grew up in eastern Washington and has lived in the western part of the state for the past 6 years. She brings years of customer service and travel experience to Chuckals. Carol Royse
Custom Products& Furniture Purchasing

Carol joined the Chuckals family in 2003, bringing 26 years of office products experience with her. She specializes in custom projects, specifically printing and furniture. Lisa Dondlinger
Government Support and Finance Support

Lisa joined the Chuckals staff in 2004. She loves to talk to government customers and enjoys answering account questions. Outside of work Lisa enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews. Hannah Sukola
Government Sales Support

Hannah joined the Chuckals team in October 2006. Hannah brings customer service and printing expierence to Chuckals. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, dancing and spending time with friends. Hannah adds that paragliding in Alaska was among one of the most interesting things she has accomplished. Hannah is eager to meet and help out our Chuckals customers.
